WTA Tour Western & Southern Financial Group Women's Open

Dinara Safina will lead the Open as No.1 seed with Dominika Cibulkova and Kuznetsova looking to topple her over. Kuznetsova could possibly achieve that but she'll have to make it through Kim Clijsters, having retired for a number of years she returned with a victory over Marion Bartoli (the 12th seed) 6-4,6-3. Venus will be hoping to make it far in this tournament but she has Flavia Pennetta on her draw who won last week and has always been a difficult opponent for her. Zvonareva who is failing to reach her form from last year will be competiting with Nadia Petrova and Daniela Hantuchova for a 4th round spot. The third quarter will see Wozniacki Vs Wozniak - always wanted to write that. Ana Ivanovic will be on the sidelines. Dementieva is also on this side of the draw so it seems likely that Dementieva will go far. Jankovic who in my opinion has over exhausted her capabilities find Chakvetadze and Azarenka n her section of the draw, if she manages to break through she has Radwanska or Serena to contend with (or maybe even Jie Zheng) thereby I can easily say that this is the toughest section of the draw.
